"Cuna del Angel" (Angel’s Cradle) is an exclusive and cozy hotel amidst the surroundings of exuberant tropical jungle forest, located nine kilometers (5 ½ miles) south of Dominical off the coastal road, in a unique and typical colonial style environment.

The Palapa, the main building of this unique hotel, was designed as an area of homage to local ancestors and a symbolic expression of Costa Rican indigenous culture. Its architectural design was based on the "Boruca" traditional ceremonial dwelling with its circular shape and conic roof creating the idea of center projected energy towards the sky.
