This 7 day fly & drive package takes you to the National Parks of Poás Volcano, the Central Pacific Coast before leaving towards the Talamanca Mountain ranges. Ideal for nature lovers, as you will visit different natural life zones and get an insight into Costa Rica´s famous biodiversity. Well planed routes and convenient route descriptions, make sure you find your way around without missing out on mayor attractions along your way.
This program can be booked by itself or in combination with one of the other fly  & drive programs to other destinations within Costa Rica. By doing so, you can extend the itinerary to 11 days or 15 days fly & drive programs.

The packages are designed so that you can enjoy and explore each area without any rush or extensive driving hours. The 4x4 vehicle adds safety and convenience to your vacation. You may choose between two different hotels and rental car categories, according to your preferences.

	Arrival at the international Airport , Juan Santamaría in San José. A friendly CRT-Team staff member will pick you up at the airport. While transferring to your hotel in San José, all travel documents will be handed to you. Accommodation:according to chosen hotel category.

	After breakfast you rental car will be delivered to your hotel.  Leaving San José your first attraction on the way should be Poás Volcano National Park. The drive takes you through coffee plantations and little villages before you arrive at Poás Volcano to observe it´s craters and unique vegetation. There are plenty of small restaurants on the way, where can enjoy typical meals, before you proceed towards the Central Pacific area, close to the small town of Jaco. Your hotel is located in the vecinity of Jaco. Accommodation:according to chosen hotel category.

	Today you will be heading further south along the Pacific Coast towards the Manuel Antonio National Park. On your way you will pass large areas of extensive cattle farming , rice fields and large Oil palm plantations. Manuel Antonio National Park is situated close to the small fishing town of Quepos. The area is dominated by lush Tropical Rainforest. Your hotel is located close to the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park and surrounded by tropical vegetation. 	Manuel Antonio National Park is famous for it´s abundant vegetation, wild life and beautiful beaches. Public beaches are very attractive, you should not miss the magic of Manuel Antionio National Park.  Beach activities such as kayaking and snorkeling are available. 	Today´s route will take you still a little further south along the Pacific Coast towards the area of Dominical. A lot less visitors make it to the beaches of this region, home to Marine National Park of Ballenas. These all natural beaches are nesting grounds for several species of giant sea turtles. After you have gotten a fair amount of insight into the flora and fauna of Tropical Rainforests then proceed into a completely different life zone and habitat. As you climb drive up the road towards the Talamanca Mountain range, vegetation and temperature will change almost with every driven kilometer. Your hotel is located not far from the small settlement of Doka and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Accommodation:according to chosen hotel category.

	The first part of today´s route takes you to the city of Cartago, the former capital of Costa Rica. The neighbouring Irazu volcano is  3400 meter high and dominates the views around this region. Cartago´s Cathedral is one of Costa Rica´s most important churches and land marks.   Should this be the last day of your fly & drive package, you will be heading back to your hotel in San José and return the renatl car. In case you have booked an additional fly & drive package you will go on into another exciting region of Costa Rica   Accommodation:according to chosen hotel category.

	For international flights you should be at the airport three hours before departure. According to your flight schedule you might have some time to walk around the pedestrian zones of San José or  visit a museum.   CRT Staff will pick you up for your transfer to the airport to see you off for a safe journey home.
