Day 01 Welcome to Costa Rica !!

Arrival to Juan Santamaría International / San Jose Airport. Meet and greet by Costa Rica Representative (CRT) Once clients individually clear official entry procedures they exit the terminal building, where our bilingual tour guide will assist participants with the transfer to hotel and luggage handling.

Day 02 San José - Explore the City of San José
|

A friendly CRT staff member will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the city center, to walk along the lively boulevards, visit the traditional market where local products are offered and Costaricans shop for groceries and other goods.

Option smaller children: Visit to the children´s museum, where science and culture is introduced in a playful way.

Option College kids: Visit to the National Museum

In the evening a visit to a traditional restaurant ¨Tiquicia¨ offers spectacular views of San José and real local food.

Day 03 Arenal Volcano National Park
|
|
|

After breakfast at your hotel get ready to leave San José and start with the natural adventures the country has to offer. The ride from the central valley towards the region of takes you through rolling hills with small villages. Breathtaking views and impression of the typically rural areas give testimony of Costa Rica´s variety of live zones within just a few moments.

Afternoon departure on tour to Arenal Volcano & Ecotermales Hot Springs: The classically conical shape of Arenal Volcano dominates the rolling plains of San Carlos, emitting occasional puffs of smoke as it bursts into thunderous eruptions. Enjoy the lushness of the surrounding scenery and the majestic form of the Arenal Volcano by the light of day. Try to observe, conditions permitting, the Arenal's impressive eruptions at night! Then visit the local hot volcanic springs for a swim.

Day 04 Arenal Volcano Area

Option smaller children: Canopy Tour (Zip line) Option Option College kids: ATV Tour Both are a lot of fun and suitable for most kids, both allow you to get in closer touch with area´s attractions. The remaining part of the day can be used to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at your hotel

Day 5 Arenal - Monteverde Cloud Forest
|

Pick up at your hotel for the ground & boat transfer to Monteverde by Lake Arenal: The fastest and most exciting way to get from the Arenal Volcano area, to the Monteverde. Lake Arenal is the second largest artificial sweet water lake in Central America and used to produce hydroelectric power. The route from the lake into the cloud forest of Monteverde shows in an impressive way the changes of vegetation throughout the different altitudes.

Monteverde is a natural sanctuary and home to a many different species of flora and fauna. Cheese making has a long tradition among the locals and many are very proud of their dairy products that can be tasted at many places.

Day 6 Monteverde Cloud Forest
|
|

Morning pick up at the lobby of the hotel for transfer to Selvatura Walkways: Self guided visit to Selvatura, where you can see and explore the forest from a different perspective. The Canopy Walkways are the best way to enjoy peacefully and safely the cloud forest. Also the bridge system of easy walking trails, make the visitors enjoy the marvels of the cloud forest. Rest of the day free to explore the area.

Day 7 Monteverde - La Pacifica
|
|
|

After breakfast the route continues toward the Pacific side of Costa Rica. Leaving Monteverde and declining through the, once again constantly changing habitats the Pacific region has to offer another new face of Costa Rica. Cattle farms and extensive tropical agriculture dominate the area.

La Pacifica Lodge is located next to the Corobici river and surrounded by gardens and a small zoo. A visit to the next door Jaguar rescue center is interessting for all age groups.

Day 8 Palo Verde National Park - Manuel Antonio
|
|
|

After a delicious breakfast with home made fresh bread there is anew and completely different life zone waiting to be explored- the mangroves! Palo Verde National Park is home to countless species of waterbirds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. A boat tour visits the heart of this very special habitat. An unforgettable experience for all family members.

Later on in the afternoon, the route continues further south towards an area of lush vegetation and extend tropical rain forests. The Pacific coastal area around Manuel Antonio is the perfect place to learn about yet another life zone while enjoying warm waters and sandy beaches.

Day 9 Manuel Antonio National Park
|
|
|

A visit to Manual Antonio National Park and it’s beautiful beaches is an excellent way to highlight your stay in Costa Rica. Tropical flora and fauna offers memorable impressions and foto material.

Get ready for a morning sea kayaking tour that introduces a new and different view of the Pacific Ocean.Small Islands, lush tropical vegetation and sea life promise an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the rest of the day at the beach or the gardens of your hotel.

Day 12 Manuel Antonio – San José

This last morning has been reserved for leisure and complete relaxation to let all the impression of your trip settle- In the afternoon the route continues back back to San José.

Day 13 Hasta Pronto Costa Rica !!
|
|
|

Breakfast at the hotel then depart on Private transfer from your hotel to the airport to take your flight back home.

According to the International Airport requirements all passengers should be at airport at least 3 hours before departure flight time for safety and check in procedures.
