DAY 01 - Arrival at  Costa Rica

• Arrival at Costa Rica, a friendly CRT representative will provide your transfer from Juan Santa Maria International Airport to your hotel in San José. En-route, we will give a completely explanation of your itinerary and following days activities. The San José Marriott Hotel is a five star hotel, it´s architecture reminds us of a colonial style hacienda.

DAY 02 - Poas Volcano , Coffee Tour , Sarchi and Grecia

• After a Buffet Breakfast we wil pick up at your hotel. As we ascend towards the volcano we will stop for a brief explanation on our golden bean the coffee, and then continue our trip through fern, flower and strawberry farms.  There is a noticeable change in temperature and vegetation, preparing us for the pleasure of the exuberant cloud forest of Poas Volcano.
• At the Volcano we will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, and hike on a trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon as we learn about the different ecosystems in the park. After visiting the volcano, we will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch in at Doka Estate.
• Our third stop is beautiful Grecia. Considered one of the cleanest towns of Latin America, it is home of the only Metal Church in Central America and a national monument that fills its inhabitants with pride. In order to catch a glimpse of local lifestyle we will also visit the central market area.
• Our last stop is Sarchí, known as the Cradle of Costa Rican Artisans because of its fine workshops. Here we will have time to enjoy the artistic work of the local artisans as they create the famous typical oxcart and you will be able to shop for that special souvenir to take home.

DAY 03

• Breakfast at the hotel and morning at leisure.
• 10:00 a.m. Transfer to Bajos del Toro area, and rest of the day at leisure to enjoy hotel facilities.

DAY 04 - Cultural tour and  at leisure

• Breakfast at the hotel and cultural tour in the morning, afternoon at leisure.
• Los Bajos Cultural Tour: Meet our neighbors in Los Bajos Town.  You will enjoy visiting Cimarron’s Finca, the local orchid farm, the picturesque church, and (while school is in session) a traditional dance presentation.  Includes a typical meal at local El Rancho restaurant for warm raw sugar beverage (agua dulce) and fresh tortillas or dough pies (empanadas) made in a traditional woodstove.  You can even learn to make your own!

DAY 05 - Adventure day

• Breakfast at the hotel. A private transfer will drive you to Hacienda Pozo Azul where you will set your pace and choose your green thrills. The participants may select two eco-adventures per couple. The transfer time is around 1 hour. Lunch included in the tour.
• Hacienda Pozo Azul is an amazing family-owned eco park immersed in a tropical rain forest environment perfect for quenching your thirst for adrenaline and unbridled fun
• Choose from the following exciting eco-adventures:  
  
  • Rafting: Class II & III White Water Rafting on the scenic Sarapiqui River.
  • Canopy Tour:  Double Line tour including a 1000ft zip over the Sarapiqui River
  • Rappelling: A confidence-building adventure on the walls of the Sarapiqui Canyon that includes exhilarating controlled “free falls” from tree platforms.
  • Horseback Riding: 2 hour Horseback Riding on well groomed Hacienda trails.

DAY 06 - Splendid Inland and Guanacaste

• Breakfast at hotel and pick up for the transfer to Guanacaste, afternoon at leisure

DAY 07 - Discovery Tour

• Breakfast at hotel and enjoy the Islita Discovery tour, afternoon at leisure.
• Islita Discovery Tour: This guided tour provides an overview of Hotel Punta Islita’s planet and people-friendly programs.  Features a visit to the recycling center, the adjacent town of Islita, the Jon and Janie Mangus Day Care Center, and the Islita Contemporary Art Museum.

DAY 08

• Breakfast at the hotel. The couple may select one eco-adventure. Zip - linning, horseback ridding or hiking. At sunset enjoy a couple’s tandem massage.

DAY 09 - Guanacaste - San Jose (Breakfast)

• Transfer from North Pacific back to San José and overnight.
• Accommodation : San José Marriott Hotel or similar

DAY 10 - Back home (Breakfast)

• According to the international flight departure time transfer from the hotel in San Jose to the International airport to take the flight back home.

According to the International Airport requirements all passengers must be at airport at least 3 hours before departure flight time for safety and check in procedures.
